What is the Access to Work Scheme?

If your pain affects your ability to work then you could get the cost of coaching with me covered by the government’s Access to Work fund.

This government-funded programme is designed to help individuals with health conditions, including chronic pain and posture-related issues, stay employed. It offers financial assistance to cover the cost of workplace adjustments and support services that make your job more manageable.

Eligibility

You may qualify for the Access to Work scheme if your pain and health condition impact your ability to work and you need support to perform your duties effectively.

You must be in paid employment or self employed to apply.

How to claim your funding and get the cost of your equipment and Pain Coaching covered:

1) Apply to the Access to Work scheme

The waiting time for assessment can be anything between four months to eight so if you think you may be eligible apply today!

2) Assessment

You will undergo a workplace assessment to identify your specific needs. I offer a free consultation to help you work out what you might need.


3) Approval and Funding

As part of finalising your support package you’ll need to provide some costs. I can help you to work out how much funding you might need.

4) Start your journey to pain-free working

After you have supplied a quote for the cost of your support you will receive a letter approving your funding. This may be provided to you directly or to your HR department if applying through an employer.

Once your support is approved please get in touch again to arrange your initial pain assessment and we can begin your journey to a pain-free working life!
